Within the scope of the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) , the previously established installation deadlines for vehicles using LPG fuel and LPG pump units at fuel stations have been officially extended. With the latest update, additional time has been granted to the relevant parties to complete the necessary preparations.<\/p>\n
Critical Deadline Update<\/p>\n
The previously announced installation deadline of June 30, 2026 has officially been postponed to December 31, 2026 under the new regulation. This decision has been made to enable all relevant taxpayers to manage the transition process smoothly and effectively.<\/p>\n
Who Is Covered by the Regulation?<\/p>\n
The new extension decision and the UTTS LPG obligation directly concern the following parties:<\/p>\n
All fuel stations providing LPG refueling services,
\nTaxpayers required to have Vehicle Identification Readers (TTO) installed on their pump units,
\nOwners of commercial LPG-powered vehicles registered in the name of a company or business,
\nLPG-powered vehicles used by businesses through leasing arrangements,
\nAll commercial\/business vehicles equipped with dual-fuel systems (such as petrol + LPG).
\nMandatory Actions to Be Taken<\/p>\n
1. TTO Installation for Fuel Stations: Taxpayers operating fuel stations must complete the installation of Vehicle Identification Readers (TTO), compliant with the specifications determined by the General Directorate of Mint and Stamp Printing House (Darphane), on the pump units used for the supply of fuels other than gasoline and diesel, including LPG, by December 31, 2026.<\/p>\n
2. TTB Installation for Business Vehicles:A Vehicle Identification Unit (TTB) must be installed on the fuel tanks of LPG-powered vehicles that are included in the business, used for business purposes, or acquired through leasing arrangements.<\/p>\n
For vehicles operating with more than one type of fuel (for example, both gasoline and LPG), installation of the TTB on the LPG tank is also mandatory.<\/p>\n
IMPORTANT REMINDER<\/p>\n
The extension of the deadline does not mean that the relevant legal obligation has been abolished.
